Translating Text
« on: October 18, 2012, 11:25:22 AM »
I am working with an interactive touchscreen script and the question of offering different language options upon user request was raised. It seems like a bit of a long-shot but is there an easy way built into Designer or perhaps a plugin that allows this to be done with the selection of a button or something without actually having to manually translate all the text?

I think is the best way that  will be more convenient.
To withstand Real Madrid 2012 tugging during the match.

Just as an update for anyone else who might be curious about the issue, I also posted something about this in the Scala partner's forum and the response from Technical Support was that they are not currently aware of anything that does this but left it open ended, in case one of their partners has already developed or is working on any kind of solution like this.

you can try to use google translate api to help you translating everything, but automatic translate has never been so good...

that's what I figured after I asked this question. Seemed like a long shot to think that something like this would exist, much less work very well. I'll look into the Google API stuff though. thanks!

Now that this conversation is going on 6 years old and the issue has reared it's head again (didn't end up having to deal with it last time) I'm wondering if anything has changed about this situation or if there's any word of changes on the horizon from Scala that I haven't heard about. Thanks!
