Controling timing between page transisions
« on: October 22, 2015, 03:29:09 AM »
Hi,

To make things simple for my users, I mad a template with 5 pages. Each page has one full-size image that is bound to a image-file.
The template shows each page 10 seconds.

When the template is published to the content manager, I create a message and from here on the user can select the 5 different images to show on each page when the scripts runs.

But - is it possible to publish a variable to the content manager, that will hold an integer for the user to enter the number of seconds each page should be shown?

I'm trying to make a setup where the user only needs to select the images for the presentation but also has the option of specifying the number of seconds each page should be shown. Can that be done?

Thanks

yes it can be done, but you have to manually assign (by editing the .sca file in a text editor) the integer template variable to the hard duration of the slide.
remember also thet hard duration is in milliseconds, so you have to multiply by 1000 if you set is as seconds for the user.
