Open ScalaScript using Player
« on: June 25, 2017, 06:54:10 PM »
Hi! I am using the trial version of InfoChannel 5. I would like to know how I could run a ScalaScript in Player. I know, kind of a dumb question. I just need it to play a ScalaScript, that is all, no remote control or other fancy stuff. Thank you!

Can you clarify with a few more details? While it's an easy question on the surface, the answer does require that you have working knowledge of Scala Designer, Scala Content Manager and Scala Players. If all you are trying to do is run a script that, for example, plays some content, you would create the script in Designer, publish it to your CMS and then add it to the Playlist set to run on that specific Player. Once you become proficient in ScalaScript and how it works when run on the Players, Scala is an amazingly powerful and flexible platform.
